Abstrak

Proyek P4K merupakan suatu proyek pendidikan petani-nelayan kecil (PNK) dengan metoda pemberdayaan partisipatif berkelanjutan yang disebut Metodologi P4K. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaan Proyek P4K dan implementasi Metodologi P4K dalam upaya pemberdayaan PNK di Propinsi NTB. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dari aspek ekonomi, penyaluran/pengembalian kredit serta usaha bersama kelompok telah berjalan baik, dan dampaknya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani-nelayan kecil. Meskipun demikian, dari aspek penumbuhan, pembinaan dan keberlanjuta kelompok masih belum sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip dan ruang lingkup pemberdayaan dalam Metodologi P4K.

Abstract

The P4K Project is empowering sustainable participation for small farmers by P4K Methodology. The aim of this research is to analyse the model and the implementation of P4K Methodology in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Based on economy aspect, The conclusion is the project outcome namely credit distribution/returning and business group has done well. Furthermore, the impact of it is able to increase the small farmers welfare. Even though, from the group developing, and sustainable still not appropriate yet with the P4K methodology principle.
